Kevin is the founder of Lotus Health Ltd. He primarily focuses on projects within the natural pharmaceutical, nutriceutical and cosmeceutical markets.
Before launching Lotus, Kevin gained considerable experience through pharmaceutical companies including Boots Pharmaceutical Research and Upjohn Ltd working on ‘total quality projects’ with Upjohn in Australia, supplying licensed injections into the Asian markets. Most recently Kevin was the Chief Pharmacist with the natural pharmaceutical company Weleda AG, a leading Global manufacturer of licensed natural medicines and cosmetics. His role for Weleda covered a wide variety of functions including formulation, manufacturing, process development, research, medical marketing and sales.
He enjoys the challenges of developing innovative natural products into successful commercial products and seeing them make a real difference to health.
Ian Wiggle works freelance as a QA systems advisor in the field of complementary medicines and natural cosmetics. With a B.Pharm. qualification, he brings over 30 years of experience within the natural medicines pharmaceutical industry.
Areas of expertise include Herbal & Homeopathic legislative and regulatory schemes, Quality Assurance systems, as well as GMP control and inspections.
In addition Ian is qualified as an Art for Health practitioner and specialises in workshop facilitation, using creative artistic methods as a means of learning.
Ian is our lead consultant for herbal medicines and ingredients, clinical/safety assessments along with medical training and conference presentations. He is an experienced conventional pharmacist and medicinal herbalist with extensive clinical research knowledge.
He consults for both the NHS and many blue chip pharmaceutical companies. He also has a post graduate diploma in clinical pharmacy and provides prescribing advice to primary care doctors and medical staff in the practice of evidence based medicine within the NHS.
